ECG Day Celebration

On 26th October 2019 Bharath Matha Composite PU College celebrated ECG(English Communicative Group) Day in the college auditorium with a great pomp.

The celebration aimed to educate the ECG students about the importance of English language in the globalized world. Fr. Jomy C.J. the vicar of Holy Cross church Mar was the chief guest and he spoke on the significance of learning English in the present world. Fr. Jose P.J. the Principal, Sr. Dhanya the Headmistress of primary section, Mrs. Gayathri college incharge, Sr. Sowmya and Mr. Susheel Tom Jose, ECG co-ordinator were present to this function.

This event turned to be more colourful when Mohammad Arman and Tenzin Zomchung of 2nd standard impressed the crowd with their beautiful stories.

ECG students from 8th and 9th standard performed a skit. This event was an opportunity for the students to receive prizes for various competitions such as skit, elocution, story writing, storytelling, debate, pick and speak, essay writing, vocabulary test and chart display that were conducted to promote the culture of speaking English in Bharath Matha. Awarding the Best ECG student from each class and the Best ECG teacher from primary, high school, and PU section were the prime attraction of this event. After all it was an immensely eventful day.
